Please also note that your luggage will need to be stored in your cabin. The rule of thumb from experienced travelers is to pack lightly. Laundry services are available at hotels and onboard the ship (at an additional cost).

What will the weather be like in Egypt during our tour?

Egypt has year-round sun and almost no rain. Daytime temperatures will be pleasantly warm (70s-80s). Cairo is generally 5-10 degrees cooler than more southern areas such as Aswan. Layers, long sleeves, or a light jacket may be preferred for cooler mornings and evenings.

What is the recommended attire for touring and aboard the Historia?

Comfortable “Country Club Casual” is the recommended attire for daytime, and something a little dressier for dinner (no specific requirements). Comfortable shoes are recommended for touring and workout clothing if you plan to use the on board fitness center.  Clothing that can be layered is highly recommended as mornings and evenings may be cooler.

Can I drink the water in Egypt?

The hotels, cruise line, and carefully selected restaurants have their own water filtration systems.  It is ok to drink the water and eat produce, etc. in these venues.

We encourage you to use an abundance of caution when opting to partake of food or drink outside of the hotels, ship, and selected restaurants.

Complimentary bottled water is also provided throughout tour (hotels, ship, touring).

Note that the strength of the Wi-Fi signal aboard the cruise varies depending on geographical location during sailing.

Yes! To provide you with worry-free and hassle-free travel, all gratuities have been included (guides, drivers, and all ship and hotel staff). We pray that this provision is a blessing and a testimony to those who serve you.
