The Wilderness
Your Day Includes
- Sde Boker - a kibbutz in the Negev Desert best known as the home and burial ground of Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion
- Wilderness of Zin - the rugged Negev desert where the Israelites wandered before entering the Promised Land
- Avdat - the ancient Nabatean city located in the Wilderness of Zin
- Makhtesh Ramon - an immense depression in the Negev Desert forming a crater 25 miles long, 6 miles wide, and 2,400 feet deep
- Wilderness of Paran - another of the deserts where the children of Israel wandered before entering the Promised Land

Petra - A World of Wonder
Your Day Includes
- Petra - the ancient Nabataean city, hidden amid the dramatic rock formations of Wadi Musa. Explore the Petra Treasury, a magnificent facade carved out of the red-hued rock more than 2,000 years ago. Also, optional hiking through the city to see a Roman – style theater, temples, colonnaded streets, and the impressive Ad-Deir Monastery.

- Timna Park - home of Egypt’s ancient copper mines and the red-hued Pillars of Solomon rock formations

- Beersheba - the southernmost city of biblical Israel and the occasional home of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
- Tel Lachish - a strategic city in the Judean foothills and the location of several important battles

- Herodium - a fortress built by Herod the Great which later became his burial site
- Bethlehem – Church of the Nativity - traditional site of the birth of Jesus

- Pilgrim Road - the route utilized by Jewish worshipers as they would come to Jerusalem for the feasts. The first-century road leads from the Pool of Siloam up to the site of the Second Temple
- Ketef Hinnom Excavations - a First Temple tomb complex where two silver amulets containing the earliest Scriptural quotation from Numbers 6:24 – 26 were discovered

- Boat Ride – Sea of Galilee - sail the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a boat from Jesus’ time

- Mount of Beatitudes - the traditional place where Christ delivered the Sermon on the Mount, including the Beatitudes
- Chorazin - the community Jesus rebuked for their lack of faith
- Capernaum - the town and synagogue where Jesus preached during His Galilean ministry
- Bethsaida - the city known as the “house of fishing” at the time of Christ

- Farewell Dinner - a special dinner to rejoice and reminisce over the extraordinary days spent together
