Founded in 1995 by Cheri and Mike Fitzsimmons, Morning Star Tours began with a vision to help travelers walk in the footsteps of Jesus and encounter the Bible in a transformational way. Their daughter, Mikele Harrison, soon joined the mission and together the vision expanded with journeys such as the Footsteps of Moses, Journeys of the Apostles, and the Protestant Reformation Tours.
Mikele now serves as Chief Executive Officer, leading Morning Star into new seasons of growth and spiritual impact. Along with the Executive Team – Leigh Cooper, Abby Spencer and Regina Scott – they carry forward the Morning Star legacy of Christ-centered excellence while providing unforgettable journeys that continually point to the greatness of our God.
With diverse backgrounds in industries such as corporate hedge fund management, academia, event planning, real estate, sales and marketing, as well as various forms of full-time ministry, each member of our team sensed a strong calling to Morning Star Tours. Collectively, our goal is to provide a seamless tour and serve people, all in an effort to facilitate an environment where God’s glory is made known.
