Neil & Vela Tomba
Neil has served as Senior Pastor at Northwest Bible Church for 24 years. He recently released the book The Listening Road and a docuseries by the same title. Vela works to support refugees in Dallas and mentors’ woman at Northwest and in Cuba. The Tombas have a passion for having conversation about Jesus all over the world. This will be their third trip to Israel.
Chris Katulka
Chris is the Director of North American Ministries with the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry. He can be heard weekly on nearly 500 radio stations as the Bible teacher of The Friends of Israel Today radio program, and he hosts the informative and funny Jew and Gentile Podcast. Chris is the author of Israel Always: Experiencing God’s Pursuit of You Through His Chosen People and serves as the editorial writer for Israel My Glory magazine. In addition to leading multiple tours to Israel, Chris can be seen guiding Christians through the Holy Land in The Common Thread DVD Bible study. After graduating from the Institute of Jewish Studies in 2001, he received his B.S. in Bible from Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia Biblical University), and a Masters of Theology in Old Testament studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Chris lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife Karen and their four children.
