  • Assaf Siboni Scenic Lookout
  • Sderot Underground Playground - a secure indoor playground near the Negev Desert
  • Ayalon Institute - former secret ammunition factory set up in 1946 by the Jewish underground during the British Mandate, it now serves as a tribute to the brave men and women who worked there in the most extreme conditions
  • Independence Hall - a historical museum commemorating the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948
  • Old Jaffa - the ancient Mediterranean seaport of Joppa, where Jonah set sail and Peter had his vision prompting him to share the gospel with Cornelius

  • First Aliyah Museum - A journey in the footsteps of the pioneers of the first immigration wave to Palestine
  • Atlit Immigration Camp - a look at a pivotal period in the history of the Jewish people prior to their Independence

Around the Sea of Galilee


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Mount Arbel - a vista of the Galilee and sites of Jesus' public ministry
  • Mount of Beatitudes - the traditional place where Christ delivered his famous speech on the Beatitudes
  • Capernaum - the town and synagogue where Jesus preached during his Galilean ministry
  • Sea of Galilee - a freshwater lake in northern Israel where Jesus spent three years ministering and performing miracles
  • Magdala - the hometown of Mary Magdalene and a newly discovered archaeological site
YOUR DAY ALSO INCLUDES

Crossing the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a boat from Jesus' time.

  • Dominus Flevit on Palm Sunday Road - a church on the route Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday
  • Garden of Gethsemane - the traditional location where Jesus prayed and was betrayed

  • Knesset - the home of the modern Israeli legislature 
  • Supreme Court 
  • Friends of Zion Heritage Center - an interactive museum featuring Christians who have used their resources to support the Jewish people
 

wednesday, february 7

Judean Wilderness


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Oasis of Ein Gedi Overlook - a view of the waterfalls and desert caves where David, in his exile, encountered King Saul
  • Masada - the impenetrable fortress where Jewish zealots made a final stand against Rome
  • Hebron- the burial place of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and one of the most important Judean cities in the Old Testament era
YOUR DAY ALSO INCLUDES

A scenic drive through the Judean & Negev Deserts.


thursday, february 8

The Passion of the Christ


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Temple Mount - where the second Jewish Temple once stood, now home of the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque
  • Western "Wailing" Wall - a section of the Temple Mount foundation dating back to the 2nd Temple Period and the most sacred Jewish site in Jerusalem
  • Southern Temple Steps/Davidson Center - part of extensive excavations that have unearthed steps from the time of Jesus leading up to the Temple Mount 
  • Walking tour of New City
  • Gordon's Calvary & the Garden Tomb - an ancient tomb similar to the one in which Christ was buried
