  • Caesarea - the Roman city where Paul first took the message of the Gospel to the Gentiles
  • Caesarea Aqueduct - the ruins of a Roman aqueduct built to supply the ancient city of Caesarea with fresh water
  • Mount Carmel - the mountain on which Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal
  • Mount Arbel - a vista of the Galilee and sites of Jesus' public ministry

Around the Sea of Galilee 


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Sea of Galilee - a freshwater lake in northern Israel where Jesus spent three years ministering and performing miracles
  • Capernaum - the town and synagogue where Jesus preached during his Galilean ministry
  • Peter's Primacy - the traditional place where Christ prepared a meal for His disciples and instructed them to take care of His sheep
  • Magdala - the home town of Mary Magdalene where one of the world's oldest synagogues has been excavated
  • Mount of Beatitudes - the traditional place where Christ delivered his famous speech on the Beatitudes

  • Banias Waterfall - a spectacular headwaters of the Jordan River
  • Golan Heights - a view of Paul's route to Damascus and modern-day battlegrounds

  • Hebron - the burial place of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and one of the most important Judean cities in the Old Testament era

The Judean Wilderness 


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Masada - the impenetrable fortress where Jewish zealots made a final stand against Rome
  • Oasis of Ein Gedi - the waterfall and desert caves where David encountered King Saul
  • Qumran - the desert caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered
  • Dead Sea - a large salt lake in the wilderness and the lowest point on the face of the earth
YOUR DAY ALSO INCLUDES

An optional hike across streams and rocks to the caves at Ein Gedi; then, an opportunity to experience the most floatable body of water in the world.

  • Garden of Gethsemane - the traditional location where Jesus prayed and was betrayed
  • Pool of Bethesda & St. Anne's Church - the pool where Jesus healed an infirmed man
  • Antonia's Fortress - the traditional location where Jesus was mocked with a crown of thorns
  • Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre- the "way of the cross" leading to the traditional site of Jesus' crucifixion
  • King of King's Prayer Tower -an opportunity to pray over Israel and her people from the Jerusalem Prayer Tower, a 24-hour center dedicated to worship and intercessory prayer

  • Western "Wailing" Wall - a section of the Temple Mount foundation dating back to the 2nd Temple Period and the most sacred Jewish site in Jerusalem
  • Southern Temple Steps - part of an extensive excavation program which has unearthed the main steps leading up to the Temple Mount complex
  • Hezekiah's City Wall & the Roman Cardo - the ancient Roman main street through the Old City

  • Gordon's Calvary & the Garden Tomb - an ancient tomb similar to the one in which Christ was buried

A memorable communion service at the Garden Tomb; then, rejoicing and reminiscing over the extraordinary days spent in the land of our Lord at our Farewell Dinner.
