Travel Tips

In the Air

Being prepared for your flight can make the trip easier!
Here are some suggestions for making your trip more pleasant.

COMFORTABLE CLOTHING

  • Wearing movable and breathable clothing can help provide comfort while sitting for long periods of time.
  • Bring along a pair of socks to keep your feet warm while you rest.

STAY HYDRATED

  • Dehydration problems often begin on the plane. It is important to continue drinking water throughout the flight.

MOVING AROUND

  • Stand up to stretch and walk around the cabin periodically to assist with circulation and stiffness.
  • For more tips on comfort while flying, download our Travel Comfort Guide.

REST

  • Use an eye mask and/or neck pillow, along with noise-cancelling headphones to help you rest and sleep throughout the flight.
  • If you plan to take a sleep aid, take it shortly after the plane departs, but wait for the plane to actually lift off!
