Day 2

The Red Sea 


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Negev Wilderness - the rugged desert where the Israelites wandered before entering the Promised Land
  • Timnah - home of Egypt’s ancient copper mines and the red-hued Pillars of Solomon
  • Tabernacle in the Wilderness - a life-size replica of the Tabernacle
  • Eilat on the Red Sea - a popular resort town on the southernmost tip of Israel
YOUR DAY ALSO INCLUDES

A dinner cruise around the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea where the countries of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan meet.

Day 3

Petra 


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Petra - the ancient Nabataean city, hidden amid the dramatic rock formations of Wadi Musa
YOUR DAY ALSO INCLUDES

Exploring the Petra Treasury, a magnificent facade carved out of the red-hued rock more than 2,000 years ago.  Also, optional hiking through the city to see a Roman - style theater, temples, colonnaded streets, and the impressive Ad-Deir Monastery.

Day 4

Madaba 


SITES YOU WILL VISIT
  • Madaba - home of the oldest mosaic map of the ancient Holy Land
  • Mount Nebo - the mountain where Moses stood and viewed the Promised Land which he was not allowed to enter

A scenic drive through the Land of the Moabites where Ruth and Naomi begin their story.
