Dr. Mark Yarbrough

Dr. Mark Yarbrough began his tenure as the 6th president of DTS on July 1, 2020. He also serves as Professor of Bible Exposition. Along with his responsibilities of leading DTS, he travels extensively leading tours and speaking at conference centers. Mark has authored several books, including, How to Read the Bible Like a Seminary Professor, Jonah: Beyond the Tale of a Whale, and Tidings of Comfort and Joy. He has been married for over thirty years to Jennifer, his high school sweetheart. They have four adult children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and reside in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Dr. Michael Svigel

Besides teaching both historical and systematic theology at DTS, Dr. Svigel is actively engaged in teaching and writing for a broader evangelical audience. His passion for a Christ-centered theology and life is coupled with a penchant for humor, music, and writing. His books and articles range from text critical studies to juvenile fantasy. He and his wife, Stephanie, have three children, Sophie, Lucas, and Nathan.

Rebecca Carrell

Rebecca Carrell is, in order of importance, a joyful Jesus follower, wife to Mike, mother to Caitlyn and Nick, Bible teacher, conference speaker, author, and an award-winning broadcaster. A proud DTS’er through and through, she graduated with her Master of Arts in Christian Education in 2023 and is currently working toward her Doctor of Education.

After spending over twenty years on the radio in Dallas/Fort Worth, she now mentors and teaches students at Dallas Theological Seminary in two departments: Media Arts and Worship and Educational Ministries and Leadership.

Richie and Gina Kingsmores

Richard and Gina Kingsmore have been involved in worship and music ministry for over 30 years. As well as leading worship in the local church, they regularly lead and teach at conferences, concerts, and training seminars across the US and internationally. They also have a music production and consulting company that provides musicians, vocalists and orchestras with creative new music and resources.

Richard, a Dove Award nominee, has been arranging, orchestrating and producing music for the past 30 years through companies like Word, Warner, Lifeway, Lillenas, Brentwood Benson, Hal Leonard, and many more. Over the years he has worked with artists such as Travis Cottrell, Sandi Patty, Michael Bolton, Michael W. Smith, Charles Billingsley, and Jodi Benson. He started his career by traveling and performing with the group Truth and later began working as a freelance musician and arranger for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. His love for the piano continues today as he writes and performs his own signature style music for solo piano. He is currently serving as a consultant with various churches and ministries across the country providing leadership to their worship ministry needs.
