Bible Teacher

Dr. Mark Yarbrough
Dr. Mark Yarbrough began his tenure as the 6th president of DTS on July 1, 2020. He also serves as Professor of Bible Exposition. Along with his responsibilities of leading DTS, he travels extensively leading tours and speaking at conference centers. Mark has authored several books, including, How to Read the Bible Like a Seminary Professor, Jonah: Beyond the Tale of a Whale, and Tidings of Comfort and Joy. He has been married for over thirty years to Jennifer, his high school sweetheart. They have four adult children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and reside in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Rebecca Carrell
Rebecca Carrell is, in order of importance, a joyful Jesus follower, wife to Mike, mother to Caitlyn and Nick, Bible teacher, conference speaker, author, and an award-winning broadcaster. A proud DTS’er through and through, she graduated with her Master of Arts in Christian Education in 2023 and is currently working toward her Doctor of Education. After spending over twenty years on the radio in Dallas/Fort Worth, she now mentors and teaches students at Dallas Theological Seminary in two departments: Media Arts and Worship and Educational Ministries and Leadership. Dr. Josh WInn
Since 2005, Josh Winn has served at DTS in the Communications department, the Office of Academic Affairs, and the Office of the President (OOP). In his current roles, he helps the seminary develop and implement cohesive communication strategies that strengthen the seminary’s mission, identity, and community. In addition, Josh oversees a wide range of initiatives out of the Office of the President. Josh is active in theological education, preaching, the church, and missions. In addition to a BS in Speech Communication (Northern Arizona University), he holds a ThM and PhD in Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
Being known by the Triune God is the highlight of Josh’s life. Period. But after that, it is most certainly being husband to Ariella and father to their four young-adult children.
