Walt McCord
For over 35 years, Walt McCord has been involved in pastoral ministry and teaching God’s Word, including 15 years at Moody Bible Institute as a Bible Professor of Old Testament. Walt’s passion for teaching the Bible in Israel was ignited under the tutelage of Dr. Charlie Dyer while studying at Dallas Theological Seminary. In the summer of 2000, Walt spent 7 weeks in Israel training to lead Bible study tours and he was a licensed, religious tour guide in Israel from 2005–2010. He has led over 35 tours to Israel, 7 tours to Jordan, and 1 tour to Greece & Turkey. It is a delight for Walt to see the Word of God transform people’s lives as they experience the land of Israel where our Savior taught and lived His amazing life.
Mike Castelli
Mike serves as the Lead Pastor at The Chapel in Green. He has had the joy of helping to lead two tours to Israel in the past, as well as many mission trips to Mozambique, India and Mexico. In Israel, he has helped many understand not only what occurred in the places where Christ walked but also to give great clarity to God’s Word through his teachings at various sites
Zac Derr
Zac has served as the Lead Pastor of The Chapel in Wadsworth since the fall of 2010. He has had the privilege of teaching in several global contexts and has thoroughly enjoyed two previous trips to Israel. Those trips deepened and energized his walk with the Lord and he is excited to help others experience the same blessing.
Tim Marrero
Tim Marrero has served as the Lead Pastor of The Chapel since October 2023. Prior to that, Tim served as The Chapel’s High School Director and Pastor of Preaching. Tim has traveled to the Yucatan and Mozambique for short-term missions, and toured Israel in 2018. It is his desire to lead others to see and experience the Holy Land, awakening love for Christ in a new way.
