Jim Aman
Hello, my name is Jim Aman and I have the pleasure of serving as the Pastor of Congregational Care/Older Adult Ministry at Centerpoint Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The most exciting part of my role here is a ministry we are developing that reaches into the assisted living communities, providing spiritual care for the residents as well as sharing the gospel of Christ with a group of people who are often overlooked in our society. This will be my first trip to Israel, and I am looking forward to the experience of being able to walk in some of the same places Jesus did during His earthly ministry. To be able to teach the Word of God in some of the same places Jesus actually taught will be without a doubt the greatest experience of my walk with God. My prayer for all who join us will be that your faith will be deepened and strengthened as we visit this special place.
Ryan Strange
Hi, my name is Ryan Strange, and I have the joy of serving as the Online Community Pastor at Centerpoint Church. I’m thrilled to be co-leading this upcoming trip to Israel alongside Jim. As a lifelong student of Scripture, with a B.A. in Biblical Literature and an M.Div., it’s profoundly meaningful to stand in the very places where Jesus and the prophets carried out their ministries. At Centerpoint, my heart is to equip people with digital tools to help them live out their faith, becoming the believers and ministers God has called them to be in their everyday contexts. That’s why it’s such a privilege to help lead this journey and to teach about God in the land where so much of His redemptive story unfolded. I truly look forward to walking these sacred places together and hope you’ll be able to join us for what promises to be a life-changing experience.
